He asked, “How can I help the poorly kids get more money?” — and from that moment, he made a promise to run a mile a day throughout November for Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice. Services include overnight care, music therapy, counselling, sibling support groups, home visits, and more. Running the hospice costs around £6.7 million a year, with statutory funding covering only 17%. The rest is raised through generous donations from the community.
