Gifts in Wills

1 in 5 of the children we currently support is funded through gifts in wills

A gift in your will today changes a life tomorrow

If you're considering leaving a gift to Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice in your will, thank you. Since our opening in 2008, Gifts in Wills have played an important part in funding the specialist care and support provided to children and young people with life limiting conditions.

We know that when you decide that it’s time to make your will, your family and friends will come first, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Once you’ve thought of those closest to you though, you might like to look at what a wonderful difference leaving a gift for Bluebell Wood in your will could make.

If you believe, like we do, that every family should have the chance to create magical memories, however long they have together, and would like to find out how leaving just a small percentage of your estate could help us in the future then take a moment to read the below information. Every gift, no matter the size, makes a difference. It’s your generosity that helps us to provide specialist care and support for those with life-limiting illness. The practical aspects of making a will can also help you to start thinking about what is important to you at the end of your life, and how you would like to be remembered.

Over the next few years Bluebell Wood's strategy has a focus to strengthen our care services, build our income and protect our future.

Each gift we receive will ensure that, through your legacy, Bluebell Wood can continue to be the vital lifeline for families across the region.

Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice is not permitted to offer legal advice and always recommends that individuals seek professional legal advice from a solicitor when thinking about your Will.

How to give:

Option One

Talk to a solicitor of your own choosing. Although you don’t have to let us know you are leaving a gift to Bluebell Wood, we would love the opportunity to say thank you and let you know the impact your legacy will have on the future of children’s hospice care in the region.

Option Two

We’ve partnered with the National Free Wills Network, a national network of local law firms offering Will writing services to supporters of UK charities.

The National Free Wills Network offers access to over 800 solicitors across the UK and Northern Ireland who can make or update a simple Will at no cost to you. To get started, click on the link below and fill in our Gifts in Wills form.

Click here to complete the Gifts in Wills form

Or email our dedicated team on [email protected]

Or call us on 01909 517 360

We then pass your contact details safely and securely to the National Free Wills Network, who will send you details of the participating solicitors local to you. Simply choose your preferred specialist to make an appointment with and they will help fulfil your wishes from here.

Should you choose to take up this offering, there is no obligation to include a gift to Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, although we hope you will consider doing so help us support children and their families in the years to come.

All our Will writing partners are regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).

If you want to write a Will jointly with another person, only one of you needs to register.

If you have a question about any of these free Will offers, please feel free to get in touch with a member of the Gifts in Wills team. Call us on 01909 519360 or email [email protected]
